What’s your Bio?

Well, I began playing guitar at age 16. Inspired by the sounds of Frank Zappa and Pearl Jam, I received an Associate’s Degree in Jazz Performance (Guitar) and a Bachelor’s Degree at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia for Music Composition.

Soooo… after graduation I self-published a CD titled ‘I.I’ which was written for a full orchestra, and also began teaching music tutorials on Youtube as well as broadcasting ‘Your Daily Music Lesson with Walt’ via Ustream.tv

The class has achieved over 134,000 viewers/students and over 1600 Youtube subscribers (as of August 1, 2008) and is growing rapidly. The LIVE show covers Music Lessons, Piano, Guitar, LIVE FAQ, News, Interviews, and more!

To name a few - I have been featured in The Guardian Newspaper and Mix Magazine as well as the Featured Musician for www.CDReviewsByYou.com and been featured numerous times on Ustream’s front page and the Ustream Blog. My Music Channel is part of the exclusive Youtube Partner Program and I was featured on Youtube’s Front Page on August 2-5, 2008. In addition, My music is used for many purposes and I stay busy working on many, many projects.
